Agreed w all except gel. Use the AVOID technique and just don't do it. Maybe the biodegradable balloons will pass muster and eliminate most of the risk, then... OK. Sure.
My guess is though - nationwide today - it is the highest volume “procedure” for our field. So as a resident, or as a director - its on the procedure path. Now… how much value does it add - that is more complex and one I’ve written on previously. But very reasonable to avoid based on clinical workflows. Wouldn’t do them just to do them, but would rec not referring them outside for someone else to do them for you.
